Here are a few photos of the exciting things the 6th grade was a part of today. The students went on a tour through the Biola campus and got a glimpse of the Christian college life. After exploring the power of education and how reading books will lead to a better and brighter future, I hope that you will take what you've learned to heart. Hopefully this trip has given you the encouragement to start thinking about your own bright futures as well.

The Power of Education: Biola

Today's field trip will have us venture to Biola University in Los Angeles. The students have been learning about the opportunities found in education, and specifically how a Christian education can enable a person to learn more about who Christ created us to be. They will learn about a very special opportunity offered through the university through the Torrey Honors Institute. This is the next step to becoming life-long learner a after His own heart. I hope today brings inspiration and encouragement to our 6th graders as we dive into the fascinating things that college has to offer!

It's that time of year!

A delicious feast!

          We will be having our class Thanksgiving feast on Friday, November 18th.  Please sign up to bring an entree or side dish to add to our festivities.  If you would like to bring a special item that is not on the list already, please feel free!  Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us in our repast.  We request that the parent volunteers arrive at 10 am.   Thank you in advance!

Report Cards

This week marks the beginning of the second quarter of the school year!  Report cards will be coming out this week Wednesday.  Thank you for all of your hard work and good attitudes in quarter one.  Please keep up the good work! Make sure you turn your report cards back in by next week Wednesday.
