We're off!!!  
We have made it to Lone Pine, and are stopping for lunch.  
We will be touring the Manzanar Relocation Center shortly.  
But for now, the kids are going to get some energy out by jumping over this stream:)

  2. artificial: not occurring naturally
  3. automaton: a moving mechanical device made in imitation of a human being that performs a function according to a predetermined set of coded instructions
  4. calibrated: correlated the readings (of an instrument) against a standard to check for accuracy
  5. celestial: pertaining to the sky or visible heaven
  6. decrepit :worn out or ruined because of age or neglect
  7. descended :to go or move down from a higher to lower place; move or come down
  8. diligence: constant and earnest effort to accomplish a task.
  9. disheveled: hanging loosely and in disorder; unkept
  10. dredge: bring to peoples' attention an unpleasant or embarrassing fact or incident that had been forgotten
  11. embossed: to decorate (a surface) with raised ornament
